The beginning of the journey of the Polish rock legend on the stages of Western Europe in the late 1970s. The trio’s first album released in West Germany was filled with two long suites, full of progressive pathos, breakneck solos and… funky rhythms!

In the 1970s, SBB, led by Józef Skrek, was an extremely prolific and active band that toured throughout Europe non-stop and made subsequent recordings – be it either CD or radio. The album “Follow My Dream”, recorded in November 1977, was one of the first fruits of cooperation with Aries agency from Göttingen, which began promoting the group throughout Europe. The LP released at the beginning of the subsequent year constitutes a collection of themes that even today remain the obligatory points of SBB concerts (“Freedom With Us”, “Going Away”), combined with instrumental madness of the highest order (“Wake Up”, “3rd Reanimation”).

Początek wędrówki legendy polskiego rocka po scenach zachodniej Europy końca lat 70. Pierwszy album tria wydany w zachodnich Niemczech wypełniły dwie długie, rozbudowane suity, pełne progresywnego patosu, karkołomnych solówek i… funkowych rytmów!

SBB pod wodzą Józefa Skrzeka było w latach 70. niezwykle płodnym i aktywnym zespołem, który non-stop koncertował w całej Europie i co chwilę dokonywał kolejnych nagrań – czy to płytowych, czy radiowych. Zrealizowany w listopadzie 1977 roku album „Follow My Dream” był jednym z pierwszych owoców współpracy z agencją Aries z Getyngi, która zaczęła pracować nad promocją grupy w Europie. Wydany na początku roku kolejnego longplay to zbiór tematów, które do dziś pozostają obowiązkowymi punktami koncertów SBB („Freedom With Us”, „Going Away”), połączonych z instrumentalnymi szaleństwami najwyższej próby („Wake Up”, „3rd Reanimation”).

Mysterious, yet nostalgic, Isolubilia is truly an ode to the romance found in the pursuit of a mystery. Musically rich in turbulence and serenity, majesty and humbleness, this album made me feel both lonely, yet understood as an isolated individual. The particular brand of keyboard-forward, jazz-infused, Canterbury-style prog is not exactly common nowadays. Homunculus Res largely succeeded at paying homage to the big names of the Canterbury scene while also making something distinct.
