A concert-legend, presented on Polish Radio in the 1970s and later released on record. Now it’s back in a remastered and considerably extended version, closing the history of SBB’s Swedish adventure in 1975. The most famous Polish rock trio in its best possible form.

SBB’s concert tour around Sweden in May 1975 was one of the exceptional, breakthrough moments in the band’s whole career. A dozen or so short appearances, lasting forty-five minutes on average – each day with different material and another concept for the whole. The concert in Karlstad, improvised from beginning to end, has for decades been considered a finished and perfect work. Now it’s back, supplemented with two following performances (in Kolbäck and Sundsvall), previously inaccessible from the original tapes, in its full form. In total there are nearly two and half hours of excellent, progressive music, full of spectacular solos and countless mood changes. Also includes some pieces that remind us that SBB was first called the Silesian Blues Band!

Koncert-legenda, prezentowany jeszcze w latach 70. na falach Polskiego Radia, odświeżony później w płytowej formie. Teraz powraca w zremasterowanej i znacznie poszerzonej wersji, zamykając dostępną historię szwedzkiej przygody SBB z 1975 roku. Najsłynniejsze polskie rockowe trio w najwyższej z możliwych form.

Trasa SBB po Szwecji w maju 1975 roku to jeden z przełomowych i wyjątkowych momentów w całej karierze zespołu. Kilkanaście krótkich, trwających średnio trzy kwadranse występów – każdego dnia z innym materiałem, innym pomysłem na całość. Improwizowany od początku do końca koncert w Karlstad od dekad uznawany jest za dzieło skończone i doskonałe. Teraz wraca, uzupełniony o dwa kolejne występy (w Kolbäck i Sundsvall), niedostępne wcześniej z oryginalnych taśm, w pełnej formie. To w sumie niemal dwie i pół godziny wyśmienitej, progresywnej muzyki pełnej brawurowych popisów solowych i niezliczonych zmian nastroju. Nie zabrakło też utworów, które przypominają, że SBB najpierw nazywało się Silesian Blues Band.

The new live EP by Ryan W. Stevenson's project reminded me, that this debut album must have been gone down the wishlist... If instrumental Canterbury stuff is your thing, this should be a no-brainer.
